In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, all processing of personal data to be performed on the website (which is dependent on Madrid City Council) is described below, together with the conditions governing the said processing.
Two forms of data-processing are carried out on the Madrid City Council website, the detailed characteristics of which are described below:
Management of innovation activities at Madrid city council
Data Controller: The data controller is the Innovation Department, with its registered office at Calle Príncipe de Vergara 140, (28002) Madrid, e-mail address [email protected] and telephone numbers 619 38 84 31.
Purpose: To manage user participation in the innovation activities run by Madrid City Council.
The data supplied shall be stored until such time as the data subject requests their deletion. They shall not be used to generate automated decisions.
Legitimate grounds for processing: The legitimate grounds for processing these data derive from the consent which users are asked to provide when they subscribe to the system, without prejudice to users being able to withdraw their consent.
Addressees: The data shall be communicated to the Innovation Department for the internal purposes of the City Council, including the processing of the personal data of the users of the services. They shall also be communicated to the organizer of the activity for which these data are required.
The data collected shall only be assigned with the prior consent of the data subject, or in accordance with the provisions of the said legislation.
Rights:
- All persons are entitled to receive confirmation as to whether or not the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department is processing personal data concerning them. Data subjects have the right to view, correct, delete, object, limit processing, and data-portability, as well as the right to oppose automated individual decision-making, including the generation of profiles, in the manner laid down in current legislation governing this matter. - In certain circumstances data subjects may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case they shall only be stored for the purpose of pursuing or defending claims. Data subjects may also object to the processing of their data for reasons related to their particular situation. The data controller in charge of processing shall cease data-processing other than for legitimate overriding reasons or in order to pursue or defend any possible claims.
- Likewise, data subjects have the right to withdraw their consent (which shall be effective as from the moment this is requested), and the right to seek redress from the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Aim: The dispatch of communications relating to innovation activities by Madrid City Council.
